A global communications provider was searching for a CPQ tool for customers and their internal sales team to help generate leads for B2B bulk orders. In collaboration with analysts and development I led a team of experience designers to deliver a web based solution.
My experience design team delivered UX recommendations, UI design and page layouts.

After 6 months analytics showed the client experienced a 6% increase in sales from traffic generated by the new CPQ tool. Sales and customer survey feedback indicated an increase in appreciation for simplicity and an overall experience that was easier to use.
Bulk order CPQ is always challenging with a large product catalog. It is an even greater challenge designing for mobile. Simplifying detailed interactive table data was the key.

These are the layouts that my experience design team delivered in collaboration with development and business analysts. The usability centered on client information, accessibility, empirical calculation logic, extensive product catalog and pricing rules. The specific steps had to be broken down by UX research and separated into easily understandable sections of information.
The work was executed under a tight turnaround with specific QA tolerances. The client's sales team had significant feedback that led to multiple rounds of testing and modifications. In the end the calculator had the elegance and simplicity the client wanted for the user interaction and the power under the hood to deliver quality automated pricing quotes.
The screens consist of: customer information collection, product selection, product details, configure and calculator.
